TerraNova Geological Solutions is seeking a highly motivated Senior Geologist to join our Denver team. This hybrid field-& lab role offers the opportunity to lead geological investigations, supervise field crews, and contribute to high-impact mineral exploration and academic partnerships. You will apply rigorous field methods, interpret stratigraphic data, and produce decision-grade reports for clients and stakeholders. Travel up to 25% to project sites is expected.

Responsibility
- Lead field mapping campaigns and supervise field crews in exploration and assessment projects.
- Coordinate sample collection, logging, and quality control of field data.
- Integrate field observations with geological databases using GIS and petrology data.
- Interpret stratigraphy, sedimentology, and structural geology to develop resource models.
- Prepare technical reports, maps, and presentations for clients and internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations during fieldwork.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Geology, Earth Science, or a related field; Master's preferred.
- 5+ years of applied geology in exploration, mining, or energy sectors.
- Strong field data collection, logging, and sample management experience.
- Proficiency in GIS (ArcGIS/QGIS) and geostatistics; familiarity with RockWorks or similar software.
- Experience with rock/mineral identification, petrography, geochemistry, and petrology lab work.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex datasets, generate actionable insights, and communicate with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Safety-first mindset with knowledge of field safety and environmental regulations.
