Responsibility
- Plan and oversee field campaigns, ensuring safety and data integrity.
- Lead geological mapping, stratigraphic logging, and mineralogical assessments.
- Compile, QA/QC, and interpret borehole data and core descriptions.
- Develop GIS-based models and 3D visualization to support exploration targets.
- Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and client deliverables.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for project planning and permitting.
- Mentor junior geologists and field crews; ensure compliance with QA/QC standards.
Qualification
- Master's degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a closely related field; PhD preferred.
- 5+ years of field-based geology experience in mineral exploration or geotechnical settings.
- Strong knowledge of GIS (ArcGIS or QGIS) and data analytics.
- Proven ability to interpret geological maps, logs, and core samples.
- Experience with drilling programs, sample collection, and QA/QC protocols.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to produce high-quality reports.
- Willingness to travel to field sites and work in remote environments as required.
