Join our NYC-based HR team as a Senior HR Generalist. You will partner with management to design and implement people strategies that drive engagement, performance, and compliance across the employee lifecycle.
This role requires a hands-on, strategic approach to talent management, organizational development, and data-driven decision making. You will collaborate with leaders to create programs that attract, develop, and retain top talent in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibility
- Partner with managers to execute end-to-end recruitment and seamless onboarding to build a high-performing workforce.
- Lead performance management, feedback cycles, succession planning, and development initiatives.
- Oversee employee relations, investigations, counseling, and disciplinary actions in line with policy and law.
- Maintain HRIS data integrity, generate analytics, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Administer benefits programs, leave management, and payroll coordination in partnership with Finance.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment regulations and privacy standards.
- Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to foster an engaging and inclusive culture.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience in a mid-size to large organization.
- Strong proficiency with HRIS (Workday, BambooHR, or similar) and data analytics.
- Proven experience in employee relations, performance management, and talent acquisition.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Solid knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and compliance.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to change, and maintain attention to detail.
