Job description

Aspire HR Solutions is seeking a results-driven Senior HR Generalist to partner with leaders across our client organizations in New York City. This role focuses on talent acquisition support, employee relations, and HR operations to deliver an exceptional employee experience.

As a key member of the People & Culture team, you will drive strategic initiatives, ensure policy compliance, and champion a culture of inclusion and high performance.

In this role you will collaborate with business leaders to implement scalable HR processes, manage critical programs, and provide guidance on complex HR issues. You will also contribute to workforce planning, performance management, and learning strategies.

Responsibility

  • Partner with managers to execute end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes for all levels.
  • Provide proactive employee relations support, conflict resolution, and respectful, compliant workplace practices.
  • Administer HRIS data quality, reporting, and analytics to inform people decisions.
  • Assist with compensation planning, benefits administration, and payroll coordination in partnership with Finance.
  • Support performance management, succession planning, and learning & development initiatives.
  • Interpret and enforce policies, compliance with labor laws, and risk management.
  • Drive a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion through programs and communications.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field; SHRM/HRCI certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of HR generalist or equivalent experience in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong knowledge of HRIS systems, payroll, benefits, and compliance protocols.
  • Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and present insights to leadership.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
