Weâre seeking a resultsâdriven Senior Industrial Engineer to optimize our assembly lines and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations. This role blends data analytics, process engineering, and crossâfunctional collaboration to deliver measurable gains in quality, productivity, and cost.
What youâll do:
- Lead value stream mapping and line balancing efforts to maximize throughput while reducing waste.
- Develop and implement standardized work, process layouts, and work instructions that improve safety and quality.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions using Six Sigma and Lean methodologies.
- Collaborate with product engineering, supply chain, and production teams to deploy new processes and equipment.
- Own production metrics (OEE, cycle time, scrap, downtime) and deliver dataâdriven improvement plans.
- Design and conduct time studies, capacity planning, and line simulations to justify capital investments.
- Mentor engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and problem solving.
- Drive standardization across plants by developing best practices and auditable documentation.
Responsibility
- Lead manufacturing process improvement projects from scoping to implementation.
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for optimization.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Collaborate with crossâfunctional teams to implement lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Assist in capital expenditure planning and justification.
- Monitor KPIs and report progress to leadership.
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians in problemâsolving methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards across operations.
Qualification
- Bachelorâs degree in Industrial Engineering or related field; masterâs preferred.
- 5+ years of handsâon industrial engineering or manufacturing optimization experience.
- Strong proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools (VSM, SMED, SPC).
- Experience with data analysis tools (SQL, Excel, Minitab, Tableau) and production planning systems (ERP/MES).
- Proven track record of delivering cost reduction, yield improvement, and cycle time reductions.
- Excellent communication, project management, and crossâfunctional collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Lean certification (e.g., LSSGB/Black Belt) is a plus.
