In this role you will collaborate with operations, quality, and supply chain to translate business needs into practical engineering solutions, backed by data, and implemented through cross-functional teamwork.

Responsibility

  • Lead the design, optimization, and standardization of manufacturing processes, work cells, and line layouts to maximize throughput and minimize bottlenecks.
  • Perform time studies, capacity planning, line balancing, and workload leveling to achieve targeted production rates.
  • Champion continuous improvement programs (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) and manage multi-department improvement projects from concept to completion.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs, dashboards, and cost-reduction initiatives; translate data into actionable insights for leadership.
  • Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, procurement, and IT to implement automation, digital twins, and data-driven decision making.
  • Lead root cause investigations, implement corrective actions, and sustain standardized work and visual management on the shop floor.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide training on engineering tools, standards, and process documentation.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of manufacturing or industrial engineering experience with demonstrated results in process improvement.
  • Deep knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, value stream mapping, and standard work.
  • Strong data analytics skills with proficiency in Excel, SQL, Minitab or similar statistical tools; experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).
  • Experience with plant layout, material handling, and line design, including safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management abilities with a proven track record of delivering on time and within budget.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations in a fast-paced environment.
