PrecisionFlow Dynamics is a leading innovator in smart manufacturing and continuous improvement. We are seeking a dedicated Senior Industrial Engineer to advance our production systems in Austin, TX. This role offers the opportunity to shape process design, drive data informed decisions, and deliver measurable value across the value stream.
As a member of our operations team, you will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality to create robust processes that maximize throughput, minimize variability, and improve safety and ergonomics.
Responsibility
- Lead the analysis, design, and optimization of manufacturing processes to improve throughput, quality, and OEE.
- Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and value stream mapping to identify and eliminate waste across production lines and support processes.
- Develop and manage time studies, line balancing, capacity planning, and takt time calculations.
- Create and validate process simulations and data driven models to support investment and capital project decisions.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to implement standardized work, visual management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead root cause analysis for quality incidents and drive preventive actions to reduce recurrence.
- Mentor junior engineers and production teams on problem solving, data analysis, and process improvement techniques.
- Own the documentation and maintenance of process standard work and SOPs, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field; master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing environment with a track record of measurable process improvements.
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher) with demonstrated project impact.
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in Excel, Minitab, Python/R or similar analytics tools.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and production planning software; familiarity with CAD tools is a plus.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management abilities; ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of safety standards and process validation; experience with TPM or 5S is a plus.
- Legal eligibility to work in the United States.
