AtlasInfra Solutions is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Development Engineer to lead and deliver complex urban infrastructure programs in Austin, Texas. This role blends strategic planning, engineering excellence, and cross-functional collaboration to build resilient, sustainable public assets.
As a senior member of our development team, you will own the lifecycle of multi-disciplinary projectsâfrom concept and design through construction and commissioningâdriving safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while delivering on time and on budget.
Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end planning, design, and delivery of large-scale infrastructure programs (transportation, utilities, drainage) from concept through commissioning.
- Develop program charters, cost estimates, schedules, risk registers, and performance metrics to guide execution.
- Coordinate with civil, structural, geotechnical, survey, environmental, and construction teams to ensure technical excellence and constructability.
- Oversee procurement, contractor selection, contract administration, and vendor management to optimize value and schedule.
- Manage regulatory permitting, environmental impact assessments, and public agency coordination to ensure full compliance.
- Implement BIM, GIS, and data standards; facilitate information exchange across disciplines and phases.
- Lead safety, quality assurance, and risk management programs to protect schedule, budget, and stakeholders.
- Communicate project status and value proposition to executives and external stakeholders to maintain alignment and support.
Qualification
- Bachelorâs degree in Civil, Municipal, or Infrastructure Engineering (Masterâs degree preferred).
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience delivering large-scale infrastructure projects, preferably in the public sector or PPP contexts.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license highly preferred.
- Proven expertise in project controls, scheduling (Primavera P6/MS Project), and cost management.
- Strong proficiency with BIM (Revit/AutoCAD) and GIS tools for design and asset management.
- Experience with regulatory permitting, environmental compliance, and urban planning processes.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills; ability to influence across disciplines and levels.
- Willingness to travel regionally as needed and operate in a fast-paced environment.
