Responsibility
- Direct and supervise all phases of infrastructure development projects from inception to completion.
- Manage multidisciplinary teams of engineers, consultants, and contractors to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
- Establish project scopes, timelines, resources, and milestone schedules in accordance with client expectations and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with municipal stakeholders, regulatory agencies, and utility companies to secure permits and approvals.
- Develop and monitor risk management plans, ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Prepare and present detailed project reports, progress updates, and technical documentation to senior leadership.
- Oversee procurement processes including RFPs, bidding, and vendor management.
- Promote innovation in sustainable urban infrastructure and continuous process improvements.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in infrastructure or civil project management within urban environments.
- PMP, PE, or equivalent professional certification strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise managing budgets exceeding $20M.
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Solid knowledge of municipal bylaws, building codes, and permitting processes in Ontario.
- Proficiency with project management software (Primavera, MS Project, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
