GlobalGrid Infrastructure is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Development Engineer to lead transformative projects across our utility and civil networks in Houston. You will drive design, feasibility studies, and delivery for large-scale infrastructure initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams, contractors, and government stakeholders.
In this role you will translate strategic goals into actionable plans, ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards, and optimize capital efficiency through innovative engineering solutions.

Responsibility
- Lead end to end infrastructure development projects from scoping through delivery, ensuring on time and on budget performance.
- Develop feasibility studies, design briefs, and cost estimates; manage interfaces with utility partners, municipalities, and EPC contractors.
- Define technical specifications, review designs for code compliance and safety standards, and promote sustainable engineering practices.
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams; oversee vendors, contractors, and external consultants; manage critical path and RACI matrices in project tools.
- Drive risk assessment, permitting, procurement, and change management; track progress with KPIs and dashboards.
- Provide mentorship and technical leadership in BIM modeling, CAD drawings, and GIS analysis.
- Deliver comprehensive QA/QC documentation and handover packages for operations teams.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field; Professional Engineer PE license preferred.
- 7+ years of infrastructure development experience in civil works or utilities project delivery.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, BIM (Revit), GIS (ArcGIS); experience with Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Strong knowledge of codes and standards such as AASHTO, NEC, NFPA; experience with permitting processes.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and vendor management skills; proven stakeholder collaboration.
- Experience managing budgets, risk, and change orders; data-driven decision making and reporting.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% and a strong safety culture.
