At Aurora Insurance Group, we design ambitious, customer-centric insurance products that protect what matters. We are seeking a Senior Insurance Product Manager to lead end-to-end product strategy, market analysis, pricing concepts, and go-to-market plans across property, casualty, and specialty lines.
You will collaborate with Actuarial, Underwriting, Data Science, Marketing, and Sales to deliver products that achieve growth, profitability, and regulatory compliance. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role that blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
Responsibility
- Define the product vision and strategy for new and existing insurance lines, aligned with company goals.
- Lead market research, competitive analysis, and customer discovery to identify opportunities and pricing strategies.
- Partner with actuaries and data scientists to develop pricing models, risk segments, and profitability targets.
- Own the product lifecycle from concept through launch, including requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with marketing and distribution teams to craft go-to-market plans and product messaging.
- Monitor KPIs, conduct post-launch reviews, and iterate based on data and customer feedback.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and policy governance across all products.
- Mentor junior product teammates and drive a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement.
Qualification
- Minimum 5 years of product management experience in insurance, with direct exposure to P&C or life products.
- Strong understanding of insurance pricing, underwriting, risk assessment, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven track record delivering customer-centric insurance products that drive growth and profitability.
- Experience with data-driven decision making, SQL or analytics tools, and A/B testing.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Actuarial Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Project management experience; familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
