Responsibility

  • Lead design concept development from initial briefing through construction documentation for residential and boutique hotel projects.
  • Develop client presentations, mood boards, and space planning strategies that translate requirements into compelling design narratives.
  • Collaborate with project managers to create accurate timetables, budgets, and procurement plans; monitor progress to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Oversee schematic design to construction documentation, coordinating with architects, consultants, and vendors.
  • Mentor junior designers, review submittals, and ensure design quality and consistency.
  • Specify FF&E, materials, finishes, lighting, and bespoke elements; manage procurement and vendor relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with codes, accessibility standards, and sustainability guidelines (LEED or equivalent).
  • Foster strong client relationships, present design updates, and translate feedback into actionable design iterations.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field; NCIDQ or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of professional interior design experience with a strong portfolio in residential and hospitality sectors.
  • Proficiency in design software: AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite; strong rendering skills.
  • Excellent drawing and presentation skills; ability to communicate design concepts to clients and teams.
  • Strong project management, time management, and vendor coordination abilities.
