Responsibility
- Lead the full design process from concept through construction documentation for luxury residential projects.
- Translate client briefs into cohesive design concepts, mood boards, space plans, and 3D presentations.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to coordinate schedules, budgets, and on-site execution.
- Mentor and supervise junior designers, providing guidance on drawing standards, materials, and detailing.
- Prepare presentations for clients, create detailed construction drawings, schedules, and specifications.
- Source premium materials, finishes, and furnishings; manage vendor relationships and procurement timelines.
- Ensure design integrity and quality control on-site, addressing issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintain rigorous documentation and version control to support successful project handovers.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field; professional accreditation is a plus.
- Minimum 5-7 years of interior design experience, with a strong portfolio of luxury residential projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D visualization (V-Ray, Rhino, or similar), and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and client-relations skills.
- Strong space-planning, material knowledge, and detailing capabilities; ability to manage multiple projects with leadership.
- Experience coordinating with vendors, contractors, and fabricators; savvy in project budgeting and scheduling.
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and detail-oriented with a passion for craft and luxury finishes.
- Ability to lead teams, mentor designers, and communicate design intent clearly to clients and partners.
