Join Lumina Interiors, a premier studio crafting luxury residential and boutique commercial spaces. We are seeking a Senior Interior Designer to lead client projects from concept to completion with a passion for exceptional detail and seamless execution.
As a key member of our design team, you will translate client briefs into compelling design concepts, supervise design development, coordinate with architects and engineers, and ensure projects deliver on time and on budget while exceeding client expectations.
Qualifications include a strong portfolio, mastery of space planning, materials selection, lighting design, and a proven track record delivering high-end interiors.
Responsibility
- Lead concept development and schematic design for luxury residential and boutique commercial projects.
- Develop detailed design packages, including plans, elevations, and material specifications.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and vendors to ensure design integrity and timely delivery.
- Oversee 3D modeling and visualization, presenting concepts to clients and stakeholders.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and change orders, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.
- Mentor junior designers and collaborate with the studio team to maintain design excellence.
- Oversee procurement and on-site installation to achieve intended design outcomes.
- Maintain high standards of documentation, quality control, and compliance with local codes.
Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of interior design experience, with a portfolio of luxury residential or boutique commercial projects.
- Strong proficiency in space planning, materials, finishes, lighting, and furniture selection.
- Expertise in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and rendering tools (V-Ray, Corona, or similar).
- Excellent presentation, communication, and client-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of building codes, permits, and contract administration.
- Strong vendor relationships and procurement experience.
