Responsibility
- Lead conceptual design development from concept through construction documentation for high-end residential and select commercial projects.
- Develop and present design concepts, schematic sketches, 3D visualizations, and material boards to clients.
- Create and manage project timelines, budgets, and procurement strategies.
- Prepare detailed construction drawings, plans, sections, elevations, furniture layouts, and finish schedules.
- Collaborate with project teams including architects, consultants, and contractors; coordinate with vendors.
- Review shop drawings, respond to RFI's, and supervise on-site visits to ensure design intent and quality standards.
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to firm-wide design standards and best practices.
Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
- 5+ years of professional interior design experience in luxury residential and boutique commercial projects with a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3ds Max, and Adobe Creative Suite; experience with BIM is a plus.
- Solid knowledge of building codes, finishes, materials, sustainability, and procurement processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client-relations skills; demonstrated leadership and collaboration.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced studio environment.
- Strong vendor relations, budgeting, and on-site coordination experience.
