Join Lumina Interiors, a premium studio crafting elegant, human-centered spaces for residential and boutique commercial projects. We are seeking a Senior Interior Designer who thrives on design excellence, client collaboration, and delivering inspiring environments on schedule and within budget.
As a pivotal member of our design team, you will translate client visions into cohesive concepts, oversee project development, and mentor junior designers.
Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end interior design projects from concept through construction documentation and on-site installation.
- Develop compelling design concepts, space planning, material palettes, lighting strategies, and furniture selections.
- Produce high-quality 2D and 3D deliverables (schematic designs, floor plans, elevations, renderings, mood boards).
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure project success and on-time delivery.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and procurement; review shop drawings and provide value engineering as needed.
- Mentor and guide junior designers; contribute to studio-wide design standards and processes.
- Present design concepts to clients with confidence; incorporate feedback into final designs.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
- Minimum 5 years of professional interior design experience, with a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit or Rhino, and rendering tools.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, accessibility standards, and construction practices.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client-relations skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, lead teams, and coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive problem-solving mindset and a strong sense of design integrity.
