We are seeking a Senior Interior Designer who leads highâend residential and commercial projects from concept through completion, collaborates with clients, architects, and vendors, and mentors junior designers.
In this role you will translate client vision into compelling design concepts, create detailed space plans, oversee documentation, select FF&E, finishes, and lighting, and ensure onâtime, onâbudget delivery. Responsibility
- Lead the design development for luxury residential and commercial projects from concept to construction documentation.
- Develop compelling design narratives, presentations, and 3D visuals to communicate concepts to clients and stakeholders.
- Create and manage master layouts, space planning, and occupant flow; produce robust DD and CD drawings.
- Specify FF&E, materials, finishes, lighting, and textiles in collaboration with vendors and procurement teams.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants; manage RFI responses and change orders.
- Oversee project budgets and schedules; track milestones and ensure timely delivery.
- Mentor junior designers, review drawings, and maintain design quality and brand standards.
- Attend client meetings and present design progress with clarity and confidence.
Qualification
- 5+ years of professional interior design experience, with a strong portfolio in residential and/or commercial projects.
- Strong concept development, design language, and presentation skills; proficiency with 3D visualization tools.
- Expert knowledge of space planning, building codes, materials, finishes, and FF&E sourcing.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp or Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent communication and client-relations skills; ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Interior Design or Architecture; LEED or NCIDQ certification is a plus.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage tight schedules in a fast-paced studio.
- Portfolio demonstrating leadership on sophisticated interiors and brand storytelling.
