Lumina Studio Interiors is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to lead contemporary luxury residential and boutique hospitality projects in New York City. You will translate client visions into sophisticated, functional spaces, manage design development, and collaborate with contractors, vendors, and our multidisciplinary team.

Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end design development for luxury residential and boutique hospitality projects from concept to occupancy.
- Translate client briefs into concept sketches, space plans, color palettes, and 3D visuals that communicate vision and value.
- Develop comprehensive construction documentation using AutoCAD, Revit, and compatible 3D tools; coordinate with engineers and consultants.
- Present design proposals to clients, manage revisions, and maintain strong client relationships.
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, procurement, and on-site coordination to ensure on-time delivery.
- Mentor and collaborate with junior designers, extending best practices in documentation and presentation.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, accessibility standards, and sustainable material selections.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in luxury residential and/or hospitality interiors.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or 3D visualization tools, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong concept development, space planning, materials, finishes, lighting, and acoustics and color theory.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and client management skills.
- Portfolio demonstrating high-end residential/hospitality projects with attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Knowledge of codes, regulations, sustainability practices, and procurement processes.
