GlobalLingua Solutions is hiring a seasoned Interpreter to join our dynamic language services team. This full-time role focuses on high-stakes interpretation across conferences, legal settings, medical appointments, and corporate events. The ideal candidate is fluent in English and at least two additional languages, with demonstrated experience in consecutive and simultaneous interpreting, strong note-taking, and professional ethics.

Responsibility
- Provide accurate consecutive and simultaneous interpretation for meetings, conferences, court, medical, and corporate events.
- Prepare glossaries and terminology lists to ensure consistency across sessions.
- Establish rapport with clients, vendors, and participants while maintaining neutrality and professionalism.
- Manage on-site and remote interpretation logistics, including equipment setup and testing.
- Collaborate with project managers to scope assignments, prepare schedules, and meet tight deadlines.
- Adhere to confidentiality and ethical guidelines, maintaining client privacy and data security.
- Mentor junior interpreters and contribute to quality assurance reviews.
- Provide post-event debriefs and accurate, bilingual summaries as required.
Qualification
- Fluent in English plus at least two other languages (professional proficiency in speaking, listening, reading, and writing).
- Minimum 5 years of interpretation experience in professional settings (legal, medical, conference, or corporate).
- Proven track record in consecutive and simultaneous interpretation, including booth work.
- Excellent memory, note-taking, and research skills; strong terminology management.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills; ability to manage high-pressure environments.
- Degree in Interpretation, Linguistics, or related field; relevant certification (e.g., ISO 9001, CMI, NAD, or ATA) preferred.
- Remote work capability with reliable internet; willingness to travel as needed (up to 20%).
- High level of cultural sensitivity and ethics; confidentiality commitment.
