Nova Chronicle Media is seeking a seasoned Senior Journalist to join our NYC newsroom. You will lead in-depth reporting, break news, and develop compelling stories that resonate with a national audience. This full-time role demands integrity, curiosity, and the drive to uncover the story behind the headlines.
As part of our investigative and multiplatform team, you'll collaborate with editors, photographers, and data reporters to produce accurate, engaging content across print, digital, and social channels.

Responsibility
- Lead investigative projects from ideation to publication, including source development and verification.
- Produce high-impact stories across print, digital, and social platforms with clear narratives and strong framing.
- Conduct rigorous interviews, fact-checks, and document analysis to ensure accuracy and balance.
- Collaborate with editors, photographers, and data journalists to craft multi-format reports.
- Edit, refine, and fact-check content before publication; supervise junior reporters and interns.
- Manage deadlines in a fast-paced newsroom and adapt to breaking news coverage.
- Maintain ethical standards and transparent sourcing in accordance with newsroom policies.
Qualification
- Minimum 5 years of professional journalism experience with a track record of investigative reporting.
- Strong reporting, interviewing, and storytelling skills across long-form and short-form formats.
- Proficiency with data journalism, spreadsheets, and critical analysis of documents and datasets.
- Excellent knowledge of newsroom ethics and AP style guidelines.
- Experience with multimedia storytelling and basic video/audio editing is a plus.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple stories simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
