We invite applications for a Senior Lecturer in Business Management within the Faculty of Business Technology. This full-time role emphasizes outstanding teaching, scholarly research, and impactful industry engagement in a dynamic university setting.
In this role you will design and deliver high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate courses in business management, contribute to curriculum development, and drive assessment strategies that meet accreditation standards. You will mentor students, supervise research projects, and collaborate with colleagues across departments to foster interdisciplinary learning and the use of innovative teaching technologies.
A strong research profile and commitment to ongoing scholarly activity are essential. You will publish in peer-reviewed journals, seek external funding where appropriate, and contribute to the university’s research communities and grant applications. A PhD in business-related fields is preferred, along with relevant teaching and research experience in higher education settings.

Responsibility
- Deliver high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate courses in business management, including curriculum design and assessment.
- Lead curriculum development and program review to ensure alignment with accreditation standards and industry relevance.
- Supervise and mentor undergraduate projects and postgraduate theses; provide academic guidance and performance feedback.
- Lead or co-lead research initiatives in business management; publish in peer-reviewed journals and pursue external funding opportunities.
- Collaborate with industry partners to create experiential learning opportunities, internships, and guest lectures.
- Contribute to departmental and faculty service, committees, and governance; participate in quality assurance and accreditation activities.
- Coordinate and participate in scholarly events, seminars, and conference presentations; supervise research students.
- Utilize innovative teaching methods and technology-enhanced learning to support diverse learners and online/hybrid delivery.
Qualification
- PhD in Business Administration, Management, or a closely related field from a recognised university.
- Minimum of 5 years of teaching, research, or combined higher education experience at the tertiary level.
- Strong research track record with publications in reputable journals and ongoing research activity.
- Ability to supervise Masters and PhD students; track record of successful student supervision.
- Experience in securing external research funding and conducting grant proposals is desirable.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills; ability to collaborate across disciplines and with industry partners.
- Commitment to student success, inclusive teaching, and quality assurance standards.
- Familiarity with Malaysian higher education context and accreditation processes is advantageous.
