Responsibility
- Lead complex corporate and regulatory advisory projects, including M&A due diligence, contract structuring, and governance policy development.
- Advise clients on regulatory compliance, risk management, data privacy, and antitrust matters.
- Draft, negotiate, and review sophisticated commercial agreements and licensing terms.
- Conduct thorough legal research, synthesize findings, and present actionable recommendations to executive teams.
- Manage client relationships, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality work.
- Provide due diligence for transactions and support integration and post-deal governance.
- Develop scalable playbooks and policy templates that clients can implement independently.
Qualification
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school; bar admission in New York or ability to obtain.
- 5+ years of experience in legal consulting, corporate law, or regulatory compliance at law firms or in-house teams.
- Proven track record in M&A, due diligence, contract negotiation, and regulatory analysis.
- Strong analytical, research, writing, and communication skills with client-facing excellence.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and coordinate with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in risk assessment, policy development, data privacy considerations, and governance frameworks.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-quality deliverables on tight timelines.
