Verity Legal Advisory, a premium legal consulting firm based in New York City, is seeking a Senior Legal Consultant to join our advisory team. This role focuses on corporate contracts, regulatory compliance, and strategic risk management for a diverse roster of clients.

Responsibility
- Lead comprehensive contract reviews for enterprise clients, identifying legal risks and offering pragmatic mitigations.
- Provide regulatory and compliance analysis across sectors such as fintech, healthcare, and telecommunications.
- Draft, negotiate, and finalize key agreements including vendor, licensing, and employment documents.
- Advise on corporate governance, risk management, and due diligence for M&A activities.
- Develop practical policies and training materials to support clients' compliance programs.
- Support matter management, time estimates, and stakeholder communication to ensure delivery on timelines.
- Coordinate with external counsel and manage client relationships to deliver strategic value.
Qualification
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school; admitted to practice in New York or eligible for admission.
- 5+ years of proven experience in legal consulting or in-house counsel with a focus on contracts and regulatory compliance.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, corporate governance, antitrust, data privacy, and sector-specific regulations.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills with the ability to translate legal concepts into business terms.
- Proficiency with legal research tools (Westlaw, LexisNexis) and Microsoft Office; familiarity with contract management systems.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client engagements, prioritize deliverables, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong ethics, discretion, and commitment to professional integrity and client confidentiality.
