Join a premier law firm in New York City as Senior Legal Counsel. You will provide strategic legal guidance across corporate transactions, compliance, and risk management. Responsibility
- Draft and negotiate complex commercial contracts with vendors, partners, and clients.
- Lead due diligence and integration efforts for M&A and strategic investments.
- Advise on regulatory compliance, data privacy, securities, and employment law matters.
- Manage regulatory inquiries, liaise with outside counsel, and coordinate litigation support.
- Develop and implement internal policies, training programs, and governance frameworks.
- Provide strategic counsel to senior stakeholders on risk management and corporate strategy.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, tax, HR, and operations to mitigate risk.
Qualification
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school; active NY bar admission required.
- Minimum 6 years of corporate law, transactional, or in-house experience.
- Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills with attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and communication abilities; ability to translate complex issues for non-legal stakeholders.
- Experience with M&A, licensing, and cross-border transactions preferred.
- Proven track record in regulatory compliance programs and policy development.
- Ability to prioritize, manage multiple deadlines, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
