Join a premier translation and localization agency located in the heart of Singapore. We are seeking a Senior Localization Translator to lead English to multilingual content projects across marketing, software, and documentation.
In this role you will deliver accurate, culturally aware translations while preserving brand voice and technical precision. You will collaborate with project managers, editors, and fellow linguists to meet tight deadlines and high quality standards.
Key responsibilities include managing terminology, using CAT tools, and contributing to ongoing glossary development to ensure consistency across projects.
Responsibility
- Translate and localize content across marketing, software, and documentation from English to multiple target languages while preserving tone and brand voice.
- Build and maintain terminology glossaries and style guides using CAT tools (e.g., memoQ, SDL Trados, Memsource).
- Collaborate with project managers, editors, and freelance linguists to plan, execute, and deliver localization projects on schedule.
- Perform quality assurance, linguistic QA, and style checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and cultural appropriateness.
- Adapt content for regional markets, ensuring regulatory compliance and audience sensitivity.
- Resolve ambiguities through clear communication, requests for clarification, and research.
- Support localization of software/UI strings with context and testing in live environments.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional translation/localization experience with a proven portfolio.
- Native or near-native fluency in English and at least two other languages (e.g., Spanish, French, Chinese, Malay).
- Proficiency with CAT tools (memoQ, SDL Trados Studio, Memsource) and terminology management systems.
- Experience in localization of websites, mobile apps, software, and marketing material.
- Excellent editing, proofreading, and research skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication, time management, and collaborative skills in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment.
