Responsibility
- Plan and oversee daily transportation operations, routing, and carrier selection to ensure on-time shipments.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound freight, dock scheduling, and loading/unloading activities with warehouses and 3PL partners.
- Monitor key performance indicators (OTD, transit times, cost per shipment) and implement optimization initiatives.
- Collaborate with procurement, warehousing, and customer service teams to align supply and demand.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, documentation accuracy (BOLs, manifests, freight invoices), and safety standards.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts, optimize ERP/WMS data integrity, and support system enhancements.
- Manage inventory control and cycle counts to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation planning, or supply chain operations.
- Strong knowledge of ERP/WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and TMS tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management; ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight timelines.
- Familiarity with DOT regulations, safety compliance, and carrier negotiations.
- Advanced Excel skills and data analysis; experience with dashboards and reporting.
