Responsibility
- Develop and execute optimized transportation plans across road, rail, air, and ocean modes.
- Manage carrier selection, negotiation, onboarding, and performance measurement.
- Monitor key metrics such as OTIF, cost per shipment, and transit time; implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with warehouse operations, inventory control, and customer service to ensure accurate orders and on-time shipments.
- Oversee shipment documentation, customs compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce logistics costs and increase efficiency.
- Maintain accurate data in WMS, TMS, and ERP systems; generate actionable reports for leadership.
Qualification
- Bachelors degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of logistics coordination, transportation management, or supply chain planning experience.
- Proficiency with WMS and TMS systems; experience with SAP, Oracle or similar ERP platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capabilities and data-driven decision making.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations, customs procedures, and compliance requirements.
