Responsibility
- Lead original research in numerical analysis, optimization, probability, stochastic processes, or applied mathematics.
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to translate theory into scalable algorithms and software.
- Develop mathematical models, proofs, and simulations; publish findings in peer-reviewed venues.
- Mentor PhD students and junior researchers; contribute to grant proposals and reports.
- Present results at internal seminars and external conferences; participate in peer reviews.
- Contribute to open-source mathematical software and ensure reproducibility of results.
- Communicate complex concepts to non-specialists and support interdisciplinary projects.
Qualification
- PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a closely related field.
- Strong background in linear algebra, numerical analysis, probability, statistics, and optimization.
- Proven research track record with publications in peer-reviewed journals and conference presentations.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Julia, MATLAB, or R; experience with scientific computing libraries.
- Experience with mathematical modeling, simulations, and data-driven methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; demonstrated ability to mentor others.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
