StaffKing Pte Ltd is actively seeking a senior mechanic to join our East Region team for Continental Vehicle operations. This full-time role offers a competitive salary package including basic pay, overtime, incentives, and VB. You will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a range of Continental vehicles to ensure safety, reliability, and peak performance.

As a Senior Mechanic, you will work closely with the workshop team to deliver timely, high quality service. You will use advanced diagnostic tools to inspect mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, perform preventive maintenance, and execute component replacements as needed. You will also document work performed, parts used, and test results to support warranty and compliance processes.

Responsibility

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems on Continental vehicles to ensure safety and reliability.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and routine service tasks following manufacturer guidelines.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools, service manuals, and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot faults and verify repairs.
  • Replace worn components, adjust alignments, calibrate systems, and perform test drives to confirm proper operation.
  • Maintain accurate service records, parts usage, and test results for warranty and compliance.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and environmental policies within the workshop.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to provide accurate repair estimates and communicate status to customers.

Qualification

  • Diploma or certificate in automotive technology or equivalent; recognized trade certificate is preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years hands-on experience as a mechanic, preferably with Continental vehicles or similar heavy fleet.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, payload control units, and emission systems.
  • Proficiency with OEM diagnostic tools, wiring diagrams, and service bulletins.
  • Excellent problem solving, attention to detail, and commitment to safety standards.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities in a fast-paced workshop environment.
  • Willingness to work overtime and shifts as required, with a proactive approach to continuous learning.
