Responsibility
- Lead the mechanical design of electromechanical assemblies from concept to manufacturing release.
- Develop and maintain 3D models and detailed drawings using Creo/SolidWorks.
- Perform FEA and practical testing to validate performance and reliability.
- Evaluate tolerance stacks, GD&T, and DFx considerations to optimize manufacturability.
- Collaborate with electrical, software, and manufacturing teams to drive robust product solutions.
- Create and maintain design verification plans and documentation.
- Assist in supplier selection and procurement of critical components.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in design and testing.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 5+ years of mechanical design experience in product development or manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency with CAD software (Creo or SolidWorks) and simulation tools (FEA: ANSYS, Abaqus).
- Strong understanding of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and design for manufacturability.
- Experience with prototype development, testing, and NPI processes.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements related to mechanical systems.
- U.S. work authorization.
