Join a leading manufacturing innovator as a Senior Mechanical Engineer based in Houston, TX. In this role, you will drive the mechanical design and analysis of next-generation products from concept through production. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust, manufacturable solutions that meet performance, cost, and schedule targets.

Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design from concept through prototyping and production release.
- Develop and maintain 3D CAD models (SolidWorks preferred) and create detailed drawings with GD&T.
- Perform FEA and CFD analyses to validate design integrity under thermal, vibrational, and loading conditions.
- Drive design reviews with cross-functional teams and ensure design for manufacturability and assembly (DFM/ DFA).
- Collaborate with sourcing and suppliers to specify materials, components, and cost targets; support supplier qualification.
- Create and maintain BOMs, ECOs, and change management documentation using PLM/PDM systems.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical roadmaps and best practices.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; Master's preferred.
- 5+ years of mechanical design and product development experience in manufacturing or related industries.
- Proficiency with SolidWorks or Creo; strong drafting skills and GD&T knowledge.
- Experience with FEA and CFD tools (ANSYS, SolidWorks Simulation, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of DFx, DFM, DFA, and design for assembly; hands-on prototyping experience.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to lead projects and influence stakeholders.
- Knowledge of applicable standards (ASME, ISO) and documentation control; experience with BOM and ECO processes.
