As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will design, analyze, and optimize complex mechanical systems from concept through production, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance products.

Responsibility
- Lead mechanical design and analysis of components and systems using CAD and finite element methods.
- Develop test plans, execute tests, interpret results, and implement design modifications.
- Collaborate with electrical, manufacturing, and procurement teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation including drawings, BOMs, specifications, and change requests.
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards (ASME, ISO, etc.) and apply GD&T principles.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Support manufacturing and supplier development through technical guidance and troubleshooting.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred).
- 5+ years of mechanical design and analysis experience in relevant industries.
- Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA) and FEA software.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and statistical methods.
- Experience with manufacturing processes (machining, sheet metal, casting, molding) and prototyping.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
- Experience with NPD lifecycle, ECR/ECN processes, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to travel up to 10% for supplier visits and on-site support.
