  • Create and manage CAD models (SolidWorks or Creo), assemblies, drawings, and associated documentation (BOMs, ECNs, DVP&R).
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, sourcing, electrical, and software teams to ensure design for manufacturability (DFM) and cost optimization.
  • Develop and execute rigorous design verification plans, test protocols, and qualification reports.
  • Mentor junior engineers, conduct design reviews, and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.
  • Analyze field issues, perform root cause investigations, and implement effective corrective actions.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of hands‑on mechanical design experience in product development, preferably in automotive or industrial equipment sectors.
  • Proficiency with CAD tools (SolidWorks or Creo) and a strong portfolio of past projects.
  • Experience with FEA/CFD, thermal analysis, and engineering computations; familiarity with simulation tools a plus.
  • Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, GD&T, and tolerance analysis.
  • Strong problem‑solving, communication, and project management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of PLM systems (e.g., Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill) is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross‑functional team and in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
