- Own FMEA and reliability testing to ensure performance and durability in production.
- Collaborate with electrical, software, and manufacturing teams to deliver integrated systems.
- Create and manage 3D CAD models (SolidWorks/Creo) and detailed drawings with GD&T.
- Validate designs via prototyping, testing, and verification plans; drive DFM/DFMA strategies.
- Mentor junior engineers and review peers' work to uphold design quality standards.
- Support New Product Introductions and manufacturing ramp; assist with supplier qualification and documentation.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred).
- 5+ years of mechanical design experience in product development or automation.
- Strong CAD proficiency (SolidWorks or Creo); experience with FEA tools (SolidWorks Simulation, Ansys) is a plus.
- Solid understanding of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Knowledge of materials selection, thermal and structural analysis for mechanical systems.
- Proven track record of prototyping, testing, and verification planning.
