PrimeTech Dynamics is a leading engineering solutions company delivering innovative mechanical systems for energy, aerospace, and consumer products. We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead design and development from concept through production.
In this role, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, apply best-in-class engineering practices, and drive continuous improvement in performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
Responsibility
- Lead the mechanical design of complex assemblies using CAD tools and model-based systems engineering.
- Perform structural and thermal analyses (FEA/CFD) to validate performance under real-world conditions.
- Develop and maintain Bills of Materials, specifications, and design documentation.
- Plan and execute design verification tests, qualification activities, and design reviews.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, and suppliers to ensure manufacturability and cost targets.
- Contribute to IP documentation, patent-ready drawings, and technical reports.
- Mentor junior engineers, support design reviews, and drive stage-gate milestones.
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards and safety requirements.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of mechanical design experience in relevant industries.
- Proficiency with CAD tools (SolidWorks, Creo, or NX) and PLM/PDM systems.
- Experience with FEA (Ansys, Abaqus) and thermal/structural analysis.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, DFMEA/PFMEA, and DFM/DFA.
- Hands-on exposure to manufacturing processes, materials selection, and prototyping.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed.
