Responsibility
- Lead mechanical design for building services systems including HVAC, piping, fire protection, and utilities on complex projects.
- Perform calculations and simulations (load, energy, and performance) to optimize system efficiency and sustainability.
- Prepare technical reports, drawings, specifications, and procurement documentation.
- Mentor and supervise junior engineers; coordinate with electrical, plumbing, and structural teams.
- Ensure compliance with local and international codes and standards; support project approvals and inspections.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, risk, and client communications; contribute to business development and proposals.
Qualification
- Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical Engineering; Masterâs degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer / Chartered Engineer status or equivalent; 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience in building services design for Singapore and international projects.
- Proficiency with 3D CAD tools (AutoCAD, Revit) and engineering analysis software (CFD, energy modeling, FEM).
- Strong knowledge of Singapore codes/regulations (BCA) and international standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to lead client meetings and prepare compelling proposals.
- Project management and leadership skills; capable of delivering projects on time and within budget.
