Responsibility

  • Lead end-to-end mechanical design of products and systems, from concept to production.
  • Develop robust CAD models, assemblies, and detailed drawings using SolidWorks or Creo.
  • Perform FEA and tolerance analysis to ensure reliability and manufacturability.
  • Collaborate with electrical, software, and manufacturing teams to define requirements and interfaces.
  • Plan and execute design validation, prototyping, testing, and DOE studies.
  • Support supplier selection, vendor design reviews, and manufacturing handoff.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the improvement of design processes and best practices.
  • Maintain documentation for design control, design history, and change management.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • 5+ years of mechanical design experience in manufacturing or industrial equipment.
  • Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks or Creo) and FEA software (ANSYS or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and design for manufacturability.
  • Experience with design controls, DFMEA, and quality systems.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project-management skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 15-20% and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • U.S. work authorization required.
