NovaMech Solutions is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to drive the design and validation of advanced mechanical systems for our product lines. This role combines hands-on engineering with cross-functional collaboration to deliver robust, manufacturable solutions that scale from concept to production.

Responsibility
- Lead design and development of mechanical components and systems from concept through production
- Create and manage 3D CAD models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks or Creo
- Execute DFMEA, DFM/DFA, tolerance analyses, and design for manufacturability
- Perform structural, thermal, and modal analyses using FEA tools to validate performance
- Plan and conduct prototype testing, validation, and design verification protocols
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, and Electrical teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions
- Support sustaining engineering, field issues, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 5+ years of mechanical design experience in product development or manufacturing
- Proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks or Creo) and GD&T
- Experience with FEA tools (ANSYS, Abaqus) and thermal analysis
- Strong knowledge of DFMEA, DFM/DFA, tolerancing, and design for manufacturability
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project-management skills
- Proven track record delivering designs to production and supporting sustaining activities
