Join NovaMed Therapeutics, a leader in specialized medicine, as a Senior Medical Scientist. This role drives translational research and cross-functional collaboration to bring precision medicine solutions from bench to bedside. You will influence study design, biomarker strategy, and regulatory alignment across early-phase programs.
Location: Boston, MA. This is a full-time, on-site (hybrid) opportunity with competitive compensation and equity options for eligible candidates.
Responsibility
- Lead design and execution of translational research programs in rare diseases and precision medicine.
- Collaborate with clinicians, statisticians, and regulatory teams to plan and manage early-phase trials.
- Develop study protocols, statistical analysis plans, and biomarker strategies aligned with regulatory expectations.
- Oversee data management, quality control, and data integrity across multicenter studies.
- Manage vendor relationships, CROs, and cross-functional project teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Navi gate regulatory submissions and ethics approvals, ensuring full compliance.
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and represent the program at scientific conferences.
Qualification
- PhD in Biomedical Sciences or MD with 5+ years of translational medicine, rare diseases, or precision medicine experience.
- Strong experience in clinical trial design, regulatory affairs (FDA/EMA), and biostatistics.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools (R, Python, SAS) and bioinformatics workflows.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and delivering publications.
- Excellent scientific writing, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple priorities.
