VisionPower Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Pte Ltd is seeking a results-driven Senior Module Associate Engineer (Equipment) to join our equipment engineering team in the East Region of Singapore. You will be responsible for optimizing tool performance and improving tool availability across critical wafer fabrication equipment modules. This role requires hands-on operation, fast problem solving, and a mindset focused on reliability and continuous improvement in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
As a Senior Module Associate Engineer, you will own the reliability and uptime of key manufacturing tools, partner with Process Engineers and equipment vendors, and contribute to yield improvement initiatives. You will analyze tool data, implement preventive maintenance plans, perform calibration and troubleshooting, and drive MTTR reduction through root-cause analysis and rapid response to tool downtime. The ideal candidate is proactive, collaborative, and comfortable working across multi-disciplinary teams in a cleanroom setting.

Responsibility
- Monitor and improve tool performance and availability across wafer fabrication equipment modules to maximize uptime and throughput.
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance, calibration, and spare parts management to reduce unexpected tool downtime.
- Troubleshoot complex equipment issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate with vendors for timely repairs.
- Collect, analyze, and act on equipment data to drive process improvements, yield enhancements, and reliability metrics.
- Lead small continuous improvement projects, document changes, and track impact on MTTR and MTBF.
- Collaborate with Process Engineers, Manufacturing, QA, and Facilities to qualify new modules and support line readiness.
- Maintain accurate SOPs, maintenance logs, and work instructions in the CMMS and ensure compliance with GMP/ISO requirements.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline; advanced degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in semiconductor equipment maintenance or module engineering in a wafer fabrication environment.
- Strong knowledge of tool control software, diagnostics, PLC/SCADA, and data analysis techniques.
- Hands-on experience with preventive maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and reading electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Familiarity with cleanroom operations, yield improvement, and statistical process control (SPC).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams and adapt to fast-paced schedules.
- Willingness to work in the East Region of Singapore and participate in on-call rotations as needed.
