Job description

Micron Semiconductors is hiring a Senior NAND Product Development Engineer to drive the next generation of NAND flash memory solutions in Singapore. You will join a cross-functional team spanning product engineers, process developers, reliability specialists, and manufacturing operations to deliver high-performance NAND devices that power data centers, consumer devices, and embedded storage.

In this role, you will own the product development lifecycle from concept through production, with a focus on 2D and 3D NAND architectures, performance optimization, yield improvement, and reliability. You will collaborate with process, device, test, and manufacturing teams to ensure designs meet stringent specifications, manufacturability requirements, and quality targets. You will also design and execute experiments, analyze data, and apply design-for-manufacturing (DFx) practices to accelerate ramps and mitigate risk.

We seek a collaborative problem-solver who communicates clearly with stakeholders across disciplines. If you are passionate about memory technology and want to influence billions of devices worldwide, this is a compelling opportunity to join Micron's Singapore site and contribute to breakthrough NAND technologies.

Join us to work on cutting-edge NAND solutions, gain exposure to advanced semiconductor processes, and participate in a culture that values continuous improvement, learning, and teamwork. This role offers competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for career growth within a globally recognized memory leader.

Responsibility

  • Lead end-to-end NAND product development lifecycle from concept to production, focusing on 2D/3D NAND architectures and performance targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (process engineering, device physics, reliability, test, and manufacturing) to drive design for manufacturing and product quality.
  • Develop and manage product specifications, qualification plans, and risk assessments; define acceptance criteria and drive issue resolution.
  • Plan and execute DOE-based experiments, data analysis, and statistical methods to optimize yield, reliability, and performance.
  • Characterize materials and processes (e.g., lithography, ALD/CVD, etch) and lead process improvements for production readiness.
  • Analyze test data and field returns to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior engineers, participate in design reviews, and support technology transitions and ramp activities.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of NAND memory product development or equivalent semiconductor experience; strong knowledge of 2D/3D NAND architectures and memory device physics.
  • Hands-on experience with semiconductor fabrication processes (lithography, ALD/CVD, etch), metrology, and reliability testing.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and scripting (Python, MATLAB, R) and experience with DOE, SPC, and data visualization.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to influence across cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with DFx, design-for-manufacturing, risk management, and qualification processes.
  • Self-motivated, analytical, with a track record of solving complex problems and delivering results.
