Responsibility
- Lead complex negotiation strategies across enterprise partnerships, procurement, and supplier agreements to optimize value and risk.
- Draft, review, and negotiate terms, conditions, pricing, service levels, and risk allocations with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Sales, and Operations to drive deals from concept to close on time and within budget.
- Analyze market data, competitor offers, and pricing models to inform negotiation stance and concessions.
- Manage stakeholder expectations, maintain executive alignment, and nurture long-term partner relationships.
- Develop negotiation playbooks, framework, and training for cross-functional teams to improve win rates.
- Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities through value-based negotiation and term optimization.
- Monitor post-deal performance, compliance, and risk, implementing continuous improvement actions.
Qualification
- 7+ years of negotiation, procurement, or business development with a proven track record of closing high-value deals.
- Bachelor’s degree; MBA or advanced business degree preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, influencing, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical, financial acumen, and ability to read and interpret contracts and financial models.
- Experience working cross-functionally (Legal, Finance, Sales, Operations) in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort negotiating across diverse cultures and time zones; willingness to travel as needed (up to 20%).
- Proficiency with CRM (e.g., Salesforce), contract lifecycle management tools, and negotiation software.
- Strategic thinker with strong project management and stakeholder management capabilities.
