Responsibility
- Lead complex negotiations with suppliers, clients, and strategic partners to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service levels.
- Develop negotiation strategies and playbooks; forecast outcomes, create risk mitigation plans.
- Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Sales to draft, review, and finalize contracts.
- Analyze vendor proposals, conduct total cost of ownership and ROI analyses, and drive value-based decisions.
- Manage end-to-end negotiation lifecycle from RFP to contract execution, ensuring deadlines and milestones are met.
- Train and mentor teams on negotiation best practices and deal framing.
- Monitor post-signature performance against SLAs; renegotiate terms as needed.
- Maintain market intelligence on pricing, supplier dynamics, and competitive benchmarks.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in business, law, economics, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in negotiation, procurement, or contract management in enterprise settings.
- Proven track record delivering multi-million dollar savings and favorable contract terms.
- Strong analytical skills; proficiency with Excel, data analysis, and contract management software (eg, SAP Ariba, Icertis).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management; ability to influence C-level executives.
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory considerations in contracts; ability to collaborate with Legal teams.
- Professional negotiation or sourcing certifications such as CIPS or CPSM preferred.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus.
