Responsibility

  • Lead complex negotiations with suppliers, clients, and strategic partners to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service levels.
  • Develop negotiation strategies and playbooks; forecast outcomes, create risk mitigation plans.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Sales to draft, review, and finalize contracts.
  • Analyze vendor proposals, conduct total cost of ownership and ROI analyses, and drive value-based decisions.
  • Manage end-to-end negotiation lifecycle from RFP to contract execution, ensuring deadlines and milestones are met.
  • Train and mentor teams on negotiation best practices and deal framing.
  • Monitor post-signature performance against SLAs; renegotiate terms as needed.
  • Maintain market intelligence on pricing, supplier dynamics, and competitive benchmarks.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in business, law, economics, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in negotiation, procurement, or contract management in enterprise settings.
  • Proven track record delivering multi-million dollar savings and favorable contract terms.
  • Strong analytical skills; proficiency with Excel, data analysis, and contract management software (eg, SAP Ariba, Icertis).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management; ability to influence C-level executives.
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory considerations in contracts; ability to collaborate with Legal teams.
  • Professional negotiation or sourcing certifications such as CIPS or CPSM preferred.
  • Multilingual abilities are a plus.
