Responsibility
- Lead and orchestrate strategic negotiations for high-impact contracts, partnerships, and enterprise deals.
- Analyze market data, BATNA, ZOPA, and risk factors to craft win-win terms.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contract terms, SLAs, and commercial structures with stakeholders from legal, finance, and operations.
- Facilitate cross-functional negotiation sessions, aligning objectives across sales, procurement, legal, and product teams.
- Develop and maintain negotiation playbooks, templates, and scoring criteria to standardize best practices.
- Coach and mentor teams on negotiation techniques, objection handling, and deal hygiene.
- Lead post-negotiation debriefs, capture learnings, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Build and sustain relationships with key partners, suppliers, and customers to drive future opportunities.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degrees preferred.
- 6+ years of B2B negotiation, enterprise sales, procurement, or contract management experience.
- Proven track record of closing high-value deals and achieving revenue targets.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication, with strong influencing and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency with contract management tools and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and data-driven decision making.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with legal, finance, sales, and operations while maintaining high ethical standards.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking; formal negotiation training or certifications a plus.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% as needed.
