Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end negotiation processes for high-value deals, from discovery to close.
- Analyze proposals, contracts, and financial models to identify leverage points and risk.
- Develop negotiation strategies and playbooks tailored to vendors, customers, and partners.
- Coach and mentor junior team members on negotiation tactics and stakeholder management.
- Collaborate with legal, procurement, and finance to ensure terms align with risk tolerance and company policy.
- Drive data-driven decision making by tracking metrics like cycle time, win rate, and savings realized.
- Present recommendations to executive sponsors and secure buy-in for favorable terms.
- Maintain relationships with key external stakeholders to facilitate long-term collaboration.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in business, law, economics, or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in negotiation, procurement, or strategic partnerships, with a track record of successful high-stakes deals.
- Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to persuade at all organizational levels.
- Advanced analytical skills; proficient in financial modeling and ROI analyses.
- Familiarity with contract law basics and risk assessment; attention to detail and thorough documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple negotiations simultaneously under tight deadlines.
