Join Pinnacle Commerce Partners as a Senior Negotiation Specialist in New York. You will lead high stakes negotiation efforts with enterprise clients and strategic vendors, shaping terms that balance risk, value and long term partnership potential.
In this role you will collaborate with Sales, Legal, Finance and Procurement to develop win win deal structures, assess risks and drive favorable outcomes while maintaining compliance and ethical standards. This position requires strategic thinking, exceptional communication and a data driven approach to decision making.
Responsibility
- Lead and manage complex negotiations from scoping to contract closure with enterprise clients and strategic suppliers
- Develop negotiation strategies and BATNA planning to optimize pricing terms and risk exposure
- Collaborate with cross functional teams including sales, legal, finance and compliance to finalize terms
- Draft, review and revise contract language to protect the company while ensuring client satisfaction
- Analyze market conditions, pricing data and competitive offers to determine optimal terms
- Coach, mentor and train junior negotiators and contribute to internal negotiation programs
- Monitor post negotiation relationships to ensure successful implementation and renewals
- Track performance metrics, deal velocity and win rates, providing regular reporting to leadership
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in business, law, or a related field; master's preferred
- 5+ years of B2B negotiation experience in enterprise or strategic account management
- Proven track record of closing multi-million contracts with favorable terms
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and data driven decision making
- Familiarity with negotiation frameworks such as BATNA and ZOPA
- Experience with CRM and contracting tools and process improvement
- Ability to work cross functionally and travel as needed up to 25%
