Join SummitBridge Partners as a Senior Negotiation Specialist and drive high-value outcomes for clients, partners, and internal teams. You will craft strategic negotiation plans, influence decisions, and ensure terms maximize value while protecting the organization’s risk posture.
In this role you will collaborate across Legal, Finance, and Sales to close complex deals, mentor rising negotiators, and contribute to process improvements that accelerate revenue and strengthen partnerships.
Responsibility
- Lead complex negotiations with vendors, clients, and partners to secure favorable terms and long-term value.
- Develop negotiation playbooks, scoring systems, and training materials for cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Sales to draft, review, and finalize contracts.
- Forecast financial and operational impact of negotiation outcomes on revenue, margins, and risk.
- Coach and mentor junior negotiators; conduct regular performance reviews and skill-building sessions.
- Analyze market data, competitive terms, and supplier benchmarks to inform strategy.
- Manage end-to-end deal processes, timelines, and stakeholder communications to ensure timely closes.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, or a related field; MBA or JD preferred.
- 7+ years of B2B negotiation, procurement, or deal-making experience.
- Proven track record closing high-stakes contracts with favorable terms and measurable value.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into negotiation strategy.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication; ability to persuade with diplomacy.
- Experience with contract management systems and CRM platforms.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
