We are seeking a results-driven Negotiation Specialist to partner with cross functional teams and drive favorable outcomes for complex deals. This role is ideal for a skilled tactician who can balance business needs with risk management, and who thrives in a fast paced environment.
You will collaborate with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Operations to structure terms, assess risk, and close high value contracts.
Responsibility
- Lead complex contract negotiations with customers, vendors, and partners to achieve winβwin terms.
- Develop negotiation strategies, BATNAs, and risk assessments to protect company interests.
- Collaborate with Sales, Legal, and Finance to draft, review, and finalize contracts and amendments.
- Coach and mentor junior negotiators, ensuring consistency and best practices across teams.
- Analyze financial and operational impact of proposed terms and discounts.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain transparent communication throughout the deal lifecycle.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to shorten sales cycles and reduce term risk.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of hands-on negotiation experience in B2B environments.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, procurement processes, and compliance.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proven ability to close high value deals and manage complex negotiations under pressure.
- Analytical mindset with experience in financial modeling and risk assessment.
- Proficiency with CRM and contract lifecycle management tools.
- Hybrid or on site presence in NYC preferred; travel as needed.
