Join EnerGen Oil & Gas Solutions in Houston as a Senior Petroleum Engineer. This premium role is designed for engineers who lead technical excellence across field development, reservoir optimization, and production enhancement.
You will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, cost-efficient projects that maximize asset value while meeting regulatory and HSE standards.
Responsibility
- Lead reservoir characterization, production optimization, and lifecycle management of onshore assets.
- Design and optimize well completions, stimulation, and artificial lift strategies.
- Collaborate with drilling and completions teams to plan efficient intervals and minimize downtime.
- Perform data analytics, decline curve analysis, and reserves estimation to guide development decisions.
- Develop field development plans and economic models for CAPEX/OPEX approvals.
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards and regulatory requirements.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across projects.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of upstream oil and gas experience with proven reservoir and well performance optimization.
- Strong proficiency in reservoir simulators (Eclipse, CMG) and production data analytics.
- Experience with well completions, hydraulics, stimulation, and artificial lift.
- Professional Engineer PE license or ability to obtain within state.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and project management skills.
- Willingness to travel for field assignments as needed.
