Responsibility
- Lead reservoir engineering studies and production forecasting for onshore and offshore assets.
- Design and evaluate well completions and artificial lift strategies to maximize recovery.
- Develop and run numerical simulations to optimize field development plans and reserves.
- Interpret production data, logs, core samples and PVT data to support asset decisions.
- Collaborate with drilling, facilities and completions teams to implement optimized designs and processes.
- Manage project budgets, schedules and risk assessments; prepare technical reports for stakeholders.
- Mentor junior engineers and lead knowledge transfer through training and reviews.
Qualification
- 8+ years of petroleum engineering experience in E&P environments.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field.
- Strong proficiency with reservoir simulation tools (Eclipse, Prosper, Nexus) and production surveillance systems.
- Experience with economic evaluation, reserves estimation and field development planning.
- Solid understanding of drilling, completions, artificial lift and surface facility interfaces.
- Excellent communication, presentation and project management skills.
- Professional Engineer PE license is a plus.
- Willing to relocate to Houston, TX or currently local.
